LaMarcus Aldridge agrees to extension with Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs have reportedly agreed to terms on a contract extension with forward LaMarcus Aldridge.

What It Means:

Aldridge had a player option for the 2018-19 season, but the new deal will pay him for three years and is worth a total of $72.3 million. Aldridge has been playing well this preseason without Kawhi Leonard (quad). With Leonard ruled out of the first regular season game, and possibly more time after that, Aldridge will see a big boost in usage to start the season.

Our models project Aldridge for 17.1 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in the Spurs' Wednesday game against the Wolves. That's a net of 32.4 FanDuel points at a cost of $7,000.
