The San Antonio Spurs and forward LaMarcus Aldridge are working on a contract extension according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Aldridge spoke with coach Gregg Popovich over the summer about his role on offense, and over five preseason games, Aldridge averaged 18.0 points per contest. With Kawhi Leonard out for opening night and potentially longer, Aldridge is going to hold extra fantasy value early in the year.
