Dennis Schroder expected to have career year for Hawks
Atlanta Hawks point guard Dennis Schroder is projected to play a career-high 34.3 minutes this season.
Schroder already led the Hawks in minutes played last season, but with Paul Millsap, Dwight Howard, Tim Hardaway, and Thabo Sefolosha all finding new homes this summer, the 24-year-old point guard will be asked to do even more for Atlanta in his fifth NBA campaign. His field goal percentage (.433 career) will likely determine just how valuable Schroder can be in nine-cat leagues.
numberFire's models project Schroder to average 21.7 points, 6.8 assists, 3.5 rebounds, 1.0 steals, and 1.9 3-pointers per game this season while turning in a 42.4 field goal percentage and 34.8 3-point percentage.
