Washington Wizards forward Markieff Morris was found not guilty of aggravated assault on Tuesday, reports The Arizona Republic's Robert Gundran.
The 32-month saga has finally come to an end, with both Morris twins being acquitted of all counts related to the beating of Erik Hood in January of 2015. Markieff can now turn his attention toward rehabbing from offseason sports hernia surgery, although he won't be ready for the start of the season.
In an injury-shortened season, our models project Morris to play in 63 games while averaging 28.1 minutes, 13.8 points (on 46% shooting) and 5.7 rebounds per game in 2017.
