Celtics' Marcus Morris found not guilty on all counts of assault case
Boston Celtics forward Marcus Morris was found not guilty on all counts of the Morris' twins assault case on Tuesday, per The Arizona Republic's Robert Gundran.
Marcus' brother, Markieff, was also found not guilty in the case. The brothers, along with friend Gerald Bowman, were tried for aggravated assault, in the beating of Erik Hood outside a Phoenix basketball tournament in January of 2015. Marcus said that he's heading back to Boston and that missing preseason games shouldn't affect his play. He figures to be the Celtics' starting power forward in the upcoming season.
In his first year with the Celtics, we project Morris for 10.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists in 30.7 minutes per game.
