Clippers, Timberwolves showing interest in Tony Allen
The Los Angeles Clippers and Minnesota Timberwolves have expressed interest in free agent guard/forward Tony Allen, according to ESPN's Tim MacMahon.
After seven seasons with the Memphis Grizzlies organization, Allen is likely to go elsewhere in free agency this offseason. The Clippers and Timberwolves lead those teams looking to add Allen's defensive prowess.
Even at 35, Allen averaged 1.6 steals per game with 2.9 defensive win shares in 71 games a year ago. However, his -1.9 nERD is 365th of 486 players in numberFire's player pool.
