Raptors to swap Cory Joseph for C.J. Miles
The Toronto Raptors are finalizing a sign-and-trade with the Indiana Pacers to move point guard Cory Joseph for forward CJ Miles, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN
The Raptors are signing Miles to a three-year/$25 million deal with a player option for the third year. Miles will step in and provide additional depth at small forward after the Raps dumped DeMarre Carroll on the Nets yesterday. MIles will compete with Norman Powell and O.G Anunoby for minutes on the wing this season. Joseph will back up newly signed Darren Collison for the Pacers.
Miles averaged 10.7 points and 2.2 three-pointers per game last season while Joseph posted 9.2 points and 3.3 assists per game for the Raps in 2016-17.
