The Cavs sign Jeff Green to one-year deal
The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached a one-year, $2.3 million deal with former Orlando Magic forward Jeff Green, according to Jeff Zilgitt of USA Today.
After signing a $15 million deal with the Magic last offseason, Green will make substantially less in the 2017-18 season. The fifth overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, Green hasn't found his place in the NBA and will likely serve as bench fodder for the three-time defending Eastern Conference Champions.
Green averaged 9.2 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.2 assists per game while posting a -5.4 nERD rating, ranking him 469th out of 486 NBA players last season.
