Atlanta Hawks forward/center Mike Muscala has re-signed with the team on a two-year, $10 million deal, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
After watching Paul Millsap land with the Denver Nuggets in free agency, Muscala could be on track for a starting role this season. At just $5 million per year, that's a bargain, even for a re-building franchise like the Hawks.
In 70 games and 3 starts, Muscala averaged 6.2 points on 50.4% shooting across 17.7 minutes per game in 2016-17. His 1.7 nERD ranked third on the team behind Millsap and Dwight Howard.
