Vince Carter

Vince Carter joins Kings on one-year contract

Free agent guard/forward Vince Carter, formerly of the Memphis Grizzlies, has agreed to a one-year, $8 million deal with the Sacramento Kings.

What It Means:

Carter previously said he's looking to play one or two more seasons, so this may be his last ride. He won't bring much to the table in terms of fantasy value, but the 40-year-old veteran, alongside fellow elders Zach Randolph and George Hill, should provide a positive influence in the Kings' young locker room.

Carter earned a 0.6 nERD in 73 games last season. He averaged 8.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 0.8 steals, and 1.5 3-pointers on .394 percent shooting from the field.
