Grizzlies considering trading Marc Gasol

Memphis Grizzlies center Marc Gasol could be moved this offseason.

What It Means:

Zach Randolph signed with the Sacramento Kings, and Tony Allen may be next out the door, so it would likely behoove the Grizzlies to embrace the rebuilding process by dealing Gasol, rather than getting stuck in eight-seed purgatory. The Boston Celtics remain stockpiled with assets and figure to be the favorite to make a deal for Memphis' long-time big man. Gasol turns 33 in January.

Gasol averaged 19.5 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists, 0.9 steals, and 1.3 blocks per game in 74 contests last season. His 5.4 nERD was tied for 41st out of 486 NBA players.
