Celtics shopping Marcus Smart
The Boston Celtics are shopping guard Marcus Smart, according to CNHI Oklahoma's Fred Katz.
It appears that Smart, rather than Terry Rozier, is the player the Celtics want to unload in order to clear up cap space for Gordon Hayward's max deal. In addition to Smart, the Celtics are set to part ways with Jordan Mickey and Demetrius Jackson, and could be looking to deal Jae Crowder with multiple forwards now on their roster.
Smart's nERD of -3.9 ranked dead last on the team in 2016-17 as the third-year guard averaged 10.6 points on just 35.9% shooting from the floor.
