Former Memphis Grizzlies forward Zach Randolph has agreed to two-year, $24 million deal with the Sacramento Kings, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.
Just like the signing of George Hill earlier on Tuesday, Randolph is expected to help mentor the Kings' young players as they are still in rebuild mode. The soon-to-be 36-year-old Randolph will likely assume a backup role, playing around 20 to 25 minutes per game, like last season with the Memphis Grizzlies.
Randolph averaged 14.1 points and 8.2 rebounds per game while posting a -1.0 nERD rating, ranking 300th out of 486 NBA players last season.
