Cleveland Cavaliers guard Kyrie Irving (knee) is doubtful for the Cavs' regular-season opener on October 27, and there's a chance he's not able to go until January, according to sources of Chris Haynes.
What It Means:
Kyrie's initial timetable was set at 3-4 months back in June, but the Cavs could be extremely cautious in bringing back one of their franchise players, which is the thinking behind the potential January return date.
