Hornets' Malik Monk (ankle) doubtful to play in Summer League
Charlotte Hornets rookie guard Malik Monk is doubtful to suit up for Summer League action due to a left ankle sprain.
Monk first suffered the injury during pre-draft workouts, and his rehab is expected to take another two-to-four weeks. He will miss Charlotte's Summer League training camp this week, and will likely miss Summer League games as well. He is expected to be ready to go in time for the Hornets' regular training camp though.
Monk will be joining a Hornets team that finished last season ranking 11th in numberFire's nERD Power Rankings.
