Washington's John Wall recruiting Paul George
John Wall would like Paul George to push for a trade to the Washington Wizards, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
Since announcing that he would not return to Indiana in free agency next summer, George has been the subject of trade rumors and trade efforts around the league. The Wizards would join the Cavaliers, Lakers and Celtics as those teams hoping to acquire the rights to the 4-time All-Star. For Washington, they lack the assets necessary to add George right away, so free agency is the more likely avenue for them.
George's 3.8 nERD in 2016-17 would rank him fourth on the Washington team behind Otto Porter (9.4), Bradley Beal (7.2), Wall (5.6) and Marcin Gortat (2.9).
