On Monday night, Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook said that he hasn't thought about his possible contract extension.
After being dubbed the league's newest MVP, Westbrook was asked about signing a long-term deal with Oklahoma City. Come July 1st, he will be eligible to sign a maximum deal of five years, $215 million with the Thunder. If he fails to sign an extension, Brodie would hit free agency in 2018 and possible leave OKC absent a franchise player.
Westbrook put up the second-highest nERD score (15.1) of his career while earning $26.5 million in 2016-17.
