Celtics interested in Knicks' Kristaps Porzingis
The Boston Celtics are one of many teams interested in trading for New York Knicks forward Kristaps Porzingis, according to the New York Daily News.
Today, news broke that the Knicks were fielding offers for the former fourth overall pick. How serious they are is unclear, but reports suggest that Phil Jackson's asking price is extremely high. You'd have to expect future first-rounders to be involved in discussions with the Celtics.
Amir Johnson, the Celtics' primary power forward in 2016-17, performed much more efficiently than Porzingis this season. While the former posted a nERD of 3.2, the latter was back at 0.3 in 66 games with the Knicks.
