Spurs' David Lee expected to decline player option
San Antonio Spurs forward/center David Lee is expected to decline his player option for the 2017-2018 season.
What It Means:
Lee would stand to make $2.3 million with the option. It's not surprising that he will decline it, and he will likely draw plenty of interest as a free agent.
Lee averaged 7.3 points and 5.6 rebounds in 18.7 minutes per game this season, and his 5.4 nERD ranked 41st in the NBA and 4th among Spurs players.
