Former UCLA guard and NBA prospect Lonzo Ball is scheduled to meet with the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Ball is the popular choice for the Lakers' second overall pick. However, reports suggest that the Lakers were displeased with Ball's conditioning in an earlier workout. This final pre-draft meeting could provide L.A.'s front office with some much-needed clarity with the draft just a week away from today.
In his one and only collegiate season, Ball averaged 35.1 minutes per game and ranked 13th in the nation with 1,263 minutes logged. Even as he transitions to the pro game, conditioning shouldn't be an issue for the promising 19-year-old.
