Miami Heat's Hassan Whiteside to play around 20-25 minutes per game
Miami Heat center Hassan Whiteside will likely see his minutes in the 20 to 25 range a lot during the 2015-2016 season, Heat assistant coach Dan Craig hinted during a recent interview.
"You might see his minutes jump up when we're playing Andre Drummond or DeAndre Jordan," said Craig. "But if we're playing a team that likes to play small ball, you'll probably see his minutes around 20 or 25."
With a lot of the league gearing towards a small ball movement, there will likely be a lot of games next season where Whiteside doesn't eclipse the 30-minute mark. However, in just 23.8 minutes per game last season, Whiteside was still able to compile averages of 11.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 2.6 blocks per game.
