Stephen Curry double-doubles in Game 5 as Warriors win NBA championship
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry had a huge Game 5 as the Warriors were crowned the 2017 NBA champions after Monday's 129-120 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Curry had 34 points, 10 assists, 6 rebounds and 3 steals over 41 minutes. While it was Kevin Durant who was named FInals MVP, Curry's shooting and distributing were second to none. The Warriors have already opened up as heavy favorites to repeat as champs next season from the sportsbooks in Las Vegas.
Curry finished the playoffs averaging 28.1 points, 6.7 assists, 6.2 rebounds and 2.0 steals over 35.3 minutes per game. He has an impressive 59.9 effective field goal percentage over 17 postseason games.
