Isaiah Thomas (hip) out for game for Celtics
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas (right hip) will not return to Friday's game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
He was limping at the end of the first half, as the Celtics were dominated 72-31 for the biggest halftime deficit in the history of the NBA playoffs. He was terrible in this game, scoring just two points. Marcus Smart started the third quarter in his stead.
Per numberFire Live, Thomas was atrocious tonight, with -28.45 nERD in 18 minutes. Astonishingly, that was only the fourth-worst value mark among Celtics to play at least 18 minutes.
