The Dallas Mavericks are interested in free agent point guard Jrue Holiday, per ESPN's Ian Begley.
Pelicans' head coach Alvin Gentry has said that re-signing Holiday is a priority, and with the Pelicans allowed to offer him more money than any other team could, there's a good chance that Holiday stays put despite there likely being a decent market for the 26-year-old, with the Knicks also reportedly interested in him.
Holiday averaged 15.4 points, 7.3 assists and 3.9 rebounds in 32.7 minutes per game this season. His -1.7 nERD ranked only 12th among Pelicans players and 349th in the NBA.
