Rockets rule out Nene (adductor tear) for the remainder of the playoffs
Houston Rockets forward/center Nene Hilario has suffered a torn left adductor and will be out for the remainder of the playoffs.
Nene had been playing really well for Houston in the playoffs, averaging 10.0 points and 4.7 rebounds in 17.9 minutes per game. Without him, Clint Capela will see increased minutes, while Ryan Anderson should get some opportunity at center as well. Houston started Eric Gordon over Anderson in the second half on Sunday, with Anderson handling backup center duties, and we could see the Rockets run more three-guard lineups without Nene.
numberFire's models give the Rockets only a 36.3 percent chance of advancing to the Western Conference Finals.
