James Harden's 43 points not enough in Rockets' loss to Spurs
Houston Rockets guard James Harden scored 43 points during a Game 3 103-92 loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Friday, adding two rebounds, five assists, three steals and five 3-pointers in 40 minutes.
After dominating the Spurs in Game 1 with 126 points, the Rockets have been held in check by the Spurs' defense. They have failed to reach 100 points in the last two games and while Harden bounced back in Game 3, the rest of the Rockets did not. The Rockets will need someone other than Harden to step up offensively in Game 4.
Harden is averaging 33.2 points, 7.0 assists and 6.4 rebounds over 36.5 minutes per game this postseason. He owns a .473 effective field goal percentage in eight playoff games.
