Kevon Looney out four to six months after hip surgery
Golden State Warriors first-round pick Kevon Looney will miss four to six months after hip surgery.
Looney fell to the Warriors at 30th overall due to issues with his hip. He averaged 9.3 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.0 block in six summer league games.
Looney ranked first on the UCLA roster in both Player Efficiency Rating (21.9) and Defensive Win Shares (2.0) last season. Looney will likely miss the first two months of the season, and he will find difficulty cracking the talented Warriors rotation as a rookie.
