Raptors may move Jonas Valanciunas and DeMarre Carroll to the bench for Game 2
Toronto Raptors head coach Dwane Casey is reportedly considering moving both center Jonas Valanciunas and small forward DeMarre Carroll to the bench for Game 2 against the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.
Toronto was blown out in Game 1, and neither Valanciunas nor Carroll were especially productive in that game. Norman Powell moved into the starting lineup when Valanciunas was sent to the bench in round one against the Milwaukee Bucks, and it is reported that Jakob Poeltl could also move into the starting lineup, which would come as a big surprise considering he has only topped even five minutes in one of the Raps' seven games in the 2017 playoffs.
