John Wall double-doubles in Wizards' Game 1 loss
Washington Wizards point guard John Wall double-doubled on Sunday, tallying 20 points, 16 assists, 1 3-pointer, 1 steal and 2 blocks in a Game 1 loss to the Boston Celtics.
The Wizards got out to a hot start but got left in the dust in the third quarter, thanks to a mountain of turnovers and Markieff Morris going down with an injury. Wall committed eight of them in the game. The point guard struggled when Boston had Marcus Smart defend him, as Wall took only six shots in the second half.
Wall posted a disappointing 96.6 offensive rating with a -31.5 nERD rating in Game 1, per numberFire live.
