Isaiah Thomas nets 33 points in Celtics' Game 1 win
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas scored 33 points with 9 assists, 1 rebound, 1 block and 2 turnovers during Sunday's Game 1 win over the Washington Wizards.
Thomas went 11-for-23 from the floor with five three-pointers as he reached 33 points for the third time, in seven games, this postseason. He led the Celtics in scoring even after getting a tooth knocked out as he fought through a screen in the first quarter. If IT4 continues to have great games like this, the Wizards will be in big trouble.
Thomas is averaging 24.4 points, 6.1 assists, and 2.0 three-pointers in seven postseason games so far.
