Rajon Rondo (thumb) doubtful to play in Game 6 for Chicago
Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo (thumb, wrist) is considered doubtful to play in Game 6 of the Bulls' first-round series against the Boston Celtics on Friday, per Nick Friedell of ESPN.
Rondo has been dealing with not only the fractured thumb but a torn ligament in his wrist. Head coach Fred Hoiberg called it a 'long-shot' for the point guard to suit up on Friday, despite Rondo going through practice and taking shots earlier this week. Isaiah Canaan will likely draw another start in his place on Friday.
The Bulls have missed Rondo the past three games after the point guard averaged 11.5 points, 8.0 rebounds and 10.0 assists in Games 1 and 2.
