Golden State Warriors forward Kevin Durant said a lot of the team is banged up and the time off will help get the team healthy.
"I'm glad we got a few days off," Durant said. He only played 20 minutes in his return to the lineup on Monday, but still posted a line of 10 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal and 2 3-pointers. Durant played 13 minutes in the first half, so the Warriors were likely looking to give him bigger minutes had it not gone to garbage time.
Durant posted a baseline -0.28 nERD in 20 minutes in the Warriors' win on Monday.
