Rajon Rondo (thumb) may return for Chicago for Game 5
Chicago Bulls point guard Rajon Rondo (thumb) is "preparing to attempt to play" on Wednesday as the Bulls travel to Boston for Game 5, per The Vertical's Shams Charania.
Rondo was ruled out yesterday, though he did get up some shots at Tuesday's practice, and with the Bulls at risk of going down 3-2 in the series, expect him to play if at all possible. Isaiah Canaan will draw the start at the point if Rondo can't go.
If he does suit up tonight, numberFire's models project Rondo for 8.4 points, 6.8 assists and 5.1 rebounds in 27.2 minutes of action.
