Russell Westbrook's triple-double not enough as Thunder lose
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Russell Westbrook notched his third straight triple-double during Sunday's Game 4 loss to the Houston Rockets, racking up 35 points, 14 boards, 14 dimes, 3 triples, 3 steals, 1 block and 5 turnovers in 39 minutes.
Westbrook notched the triple-double by the half as he became the first NBA player to record three consecutive 30-point trip-dubs in the postseason. While he scored 18 of his 35 points in the fourth quarter, Westbrook ended up making just 10-for-28 shots for the game. The Thunder are now down 3-1 as the series moves back to Houston for Game 5.
Westbrook has averaged 35.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, 11.3 assists, and 3.0 steals per game while shooting 37.3 percent from the field this postseason.
