Blazers rule out Jusuf Nurkic (leg) for Game 4 on Monday
Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic (leg) has been ruled out for Monday's Game 4 against the Golden state Warriors.
Nurkic played 17 minutes in Saturday's Game 3 loss but experienced soreness in his leg afterward. With the Blazers down 0-3 and their season ending as early as Monday, there is no need to push their big man and risk a setback. Noah Vonleh and Meyers Leonard will eat up the minutes at the five-spot, along with Al-Farouq Aminu on Monday.
Nurkic finished the season averaging 10.2 points and 7.2 rebounds per game with a -2.1 nERD rating -- ranking him 380th among the 486 NBA players -- with Portland and the Denver Nuggets.
