Portland Trail Blazers guard C.J. McCollum scored a team-high 32 points during a 119-113 Game 3 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Saturday, adding six rebounds, two steals and six 3-pointers in 39 minutes.
Point guard Damian Lillard was right behind C.J. with 31 points in 39 minutes. It seemed like Dame and C.J. would win it for the Blazers with a 17-point lead in the second half, but a Warriors outburst in the third quarter was just too much to overcome. Maybe the Blazers can extend this series on Monday, but blowing a 3-0 series lead would be a shocking outcome for the Warriors.
Lillard's 12.81 nERD led the team per numberFire Live, and McCollum's 6.20 was second-best. Efficiency was their undoing in this one, as both were an identical 10-for-23 shooting last night.
