Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas (personal) will play in Game 2 of the first-round series with the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday.
What It Means:
Thomas will fly out to Seattle on Wednesday to attend funeral services for his sister and then meet back with the team in Chicago for Game 3 on Friday. Despite being visibly shaken by the family tragedy, Thomas scored 33 points in Bostons' Game 1 loss on Sunday. His teammates will need to help the All-Star out if they do not want to fall into a 0-2 hole.
