Boston's Isaiah Thomas (personal) plays well Sunday, is questionable for Game 2 on Tuesday
Boston Celtics point guard Isaiah Thomas had 33 points on 10-of-18 shooting on Sunday, adding 6 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 3 3-pointers in 38 minutes of action as the Celtics fell 106-102 to the Chicago Bulls.
Thomas was playing with a heavy heart in this one -- only one day after his sister passed away. Head coach Brad Stevens said that "it's [Thomas'] call" whether he plays on Tuesday, and after suiting up for Sunday's game, it would be a surprise if we didn't see Thomas on the floor again for Game 2.
Thomas finished Sunday's loss with an 11.7 nERD, good for second among Celtics players, per numberFire Live.
