Bobby Portis' efficient game helps lift Chicago to Game 1 upset
Chicago Bulls forward/center Bobby Portis played 29 minutes off the bench on Sunday, going 8-of-10 from the field with 19 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 blocks in a 106-102 upset win over the Boston Celtics.
Portis vastly out-played starting power forward Nikola Mirotic (four points and four rebounds on 1-of-9 shooting) in 19 minutes of action. Even if he keeps coming off the bench, Portis will likely continue to see more minutes than Mirotic throughout the series.
Portis' 39.5 nERD was a game-high in Sunday's win, per numberFire Live.
