Utah's Rudy Gobert diagnosed with a bone bruise
An MRI on Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert (knee) revealed a hyperextension and bone bruise in his left knee, according to Shams Charania of The Vertical.
What It Means:
The good news is Gobert doesn't have anything structurally wrong with his knee. The bad news is he is very much in danger of missing time and should probably be considered doubtful. If he does not play, Derrick Favors should start at center, while Joe Johnson will see some extended minutes at power forward.
If he is somehow able to play on Tuesday, our models expect Gobert to post 13.8 points, 12.6 rebounds and 1.1 assists over 35.3 minutes in Game 2.
