Pacers lose Game 1 despite 29 points from Paul George
Indiana Pacers guard/forward Paul George scored 29 points during a 109-108 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Saturday, adding five rebounds, seven assists, one steal and six 3-pointers in 41 minutes.
What It Means:
George was red-hot from distance in Game 1 and almost helped drag the Pacers to victory while not getting much help on the offensive end. The Pacers had a chance to win the game, but George was forced to give up the ball with seconds left on the clock after being double-teamed as C.J. Miles missed the game-winner. George should continue to see heavy minutes and probably more attention from the Cavs' defense in Game 2.
