Knicks' Joakim Noah requires shoulder surgery, will be sidelined 4-6 months
New York Knicks center Joakim Noah will require surgery on his torn left rotator cuff, and that surgery is expected to keep him sidelined for 4-6 months.
Noah underwent surgery on this same shoulder in January 2016, and after already having a rough season this year, its safe to say the 32-year-old's best years are well behind him at this point.
Noah averaged 5.0 points, 8.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 22.1 minutes per game across 46 contests this season. He ranks 179th in the NBA and fifth among Knicks players with a -0.1 nERD.
