DeMarcus Cousins (Achilles), Anthony Davis (knee) will sit again Tuesday for Pelicans
New Orleans Pelicans frontcourt teammates DeMarcus Cousins (right Achilles tendonitis) and Anthony Davis (left knee soreness) will not play against the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday.
This will be a third consecutive miss for Cousins and a second for Davis. With the Pelicans out of the playoff hunt, the pair may be held out of Wednesday's regular-season finale against the Portland Trail Blazers as well. There isn't a lot of fantasy value to be derived here, but Dante Cunningham should probably benefit the most.
The Pelicans are 33-47 this season and currently rank 21st in numberFire's NBA Team Power Rankings. Davis is 13th in the league with a 12.5 nERD while Cousins' 5.5 nERD is tied for 37th out of 485 players.
