Danilo Gallinari goes off for a season-high as Denver falls to the Thunder
Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari exploded for 34 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals on Sunday, but it wasn't enough as the Nuggets fell 106-105 to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
The Nuggets have been officially eliminated from playoff contention, but Gallinari is expected to decline his player option this off-season, so a couple of big games to end the season could help him land a better contract.
Gallinari has averaged 18.2 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 2.0 3-pointers in 33.9 minutes per game this season. He ranks second among Nuggets players and 30th in the NBA with a 6.0 nERD on the year.
