Jamal Murray scores 30 points for Nuggets
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray scored a career-high 30 points with four rebounds, five assists, two steals and two 3-pointers during a 122-106 win over the New Orleans Pelicans on Friday.
The fact that Murray hit 30 points with only two treys is remarkable. Coach Mike Malone also said that Murray is playing through some pain. Murray maintained throughout the offseason that he is a point guard, and his recent play could have him become just that next season. Sunday against Russell Westbrook should be an exciting matchup, assuming Jameer Nelson (calf) can't play.
Murray totaled 46.53 nERD in this contest, leading the Nuggets per numberFire Live.
