Magic starting Jodie Meeks Thursday with Evan Fournier (wrist) out
Orlando Magic shooting guard Jodie Meeks will start for Evan Fournier (wrist) against the Brooklyn Nets on Thursday.
Meeks makes for a great fantasy bet in a plus matchup against the lowly Nets. In nine previous starts this season, he's averaging 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.0 3-pointers on 46.8 percent shooting from the field. Mario Hezonja and Terrence Ross should also benefit with Fournier out of the rotation.
numberFire's models believe Meeks will turn in 10.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, 1.9 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.5 3-pointers in 24.3 minutes versus Brooklyn.
