Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (personal) will not start for Pistons on Wednesday
Detroit Pistons shooting guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope (personal) will not play against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday and guard/forward Reggie Bullock will start.
It's being called a family matter, but of course his off-the-court trouble from last week comes to mind here. It's unclear if KCP will miss additional time, but he is a drop candidate regardless. We should see some Stanley Johnson behind Reggie Bullock for this game.
Through three starts this year, Bullock has per-game averages of 9.3 points, 4.0 boards, 2.0 assists and 1.7 triples on 44.0 percent shooting. Our models projected KCP for 33.7 minutes, 14.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists before this news, so Bullock should soak up most of that.
