Nuggets' Jameer Nelson (calf) and Kenneth Faried (back) will play Wednesday
Denver Nuggets point guard Jameer Nelson (calf) will start Wednesday against the Houston Rockets, and forward/center Kenneth Faried (back) will play.
With Nelson back in the starting five, Jamal Murray will more than likely return to the bench, and Emmanuel Mudiay's minutes will take a decent sized hit. Nelson will be returning from a two-game absence, but there's been no discussion of a minutes limit. Faried tweaked his back on Tuesday and it's a bit surprising to see him in action tonight, given his frequent back problems. His availability limits Mason Plumlee's court time.
Nelson comes in our projections with 30.1 minutes, 10.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 6.1 assists on Wednesday night.
