Los Angeles Lakers guard/forward Nick Young is not expected to play in the team's final five games this season.
What It Means:
Young isn't officially being shut down, as he'll be on the bench as emergency depth, but barring a string of injuries, he won't see the floor again until next season.
Young has averaged 13.2 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists and 2.8 3-point attempts in 25.9 minutes per game for the Lakers this season. His 0.3 nERD is a team-high and ranks 132nd in the NBA this season.
