Ricky Rubio scores a career-high in Timberwolves' win over the Lakers

Minnesota Timberwolves point guard Ricky Rubio went 12-of-20 from the field on Thursday, scoring a career-high 33 points to go with 10 assists, 5 rebounds, 2 steals and 4 3-pointers in 38 minutes of action as the Wolves beat the Los Angeles Lakers 119-104.

What It Means:

Rubio has looked really good on the offensive end lately, and his 17.8 points per game in March are by far the most he has in any month this season, with his previous best having been only 11.8. He has also added 10.3 assists, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game this month.

Rubio finished Thursday's win with a game-high 37.8 nERD, per numberFire Live. He ranks second among Wolves players and 83rd in the NBA with a 1.8 nERD on the season.
